Warranty

Customer must obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) from ZTEC Instruments, Inc. (the Company) before returning any Product to the Company for warranty, calibration, or repair services. Customer shall pay expenses for shipment of Products to the Company. In the case of warranty and repair, if no trouble is found with the Product, Customer will be notified and the Product returned at CustomerÍs expense. Otherwise, the Company shall pay expenses for shipment of calibrated, repaired, or replacement products to Customer. To avoid packaging charges, Customer shall return Product to the Company in its original packaging or packaging pre-approved by the Company.

Standard Warranty

The Company's Products are warranted as specified in the ZTEC Instruments Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Extended Warranty with Annual Cleaning and Calibration

The Extended Warranty with Annual Cleaning and Calibration (EXT) program provides one year extension of the ProductÍs standard warranty. In addition, Product may be returned to the Company once during the year for cleaning and calibration. At the time of calibration, the Product will be certified that it meets its original factory specifications. EXT must be purchased while the Product is still under warranty.

Cleaning and Calibration

Products may be returned to the Company for Cleaning and Calibration (CAL) services. The Product will be certified that it meets its original factory specifications. Any repairs needed when being calibrated are not included and would be charged separately through the Basic Repair Service program.

Basic Repair Service

Products may be returned to the Company for Basic Repair Service (SVS) for problem diagnostics and basic repair. If cost of repairs exceeds the base repair charge, the Customer will be notified and a quote will be generated to complete the remaining repairs. Cleaning and calibration is recommended but not included. All repairs are covered by a 90 day parts and labor warranty.
