New Regional Sales Managers bring expertise and bandwidth to the ZTEC Team


ZTEC is excited to announce that Geoff Hoekstra and Manny Teran have joined the ZTEC sales team as Regional Sales Managers covering the United States and Latin America. Both Geoff and Manny bring a wealth of knowledge to ZTEC with prior work experience at National Instruments.  Please do not hesitate to contact them if you have any questions about ZTEC products or services. Geoff Hoekstra
Regional Sales Manager of the Eastern US

Before joining ZTEC instruments, Geoff was president of 45Fix, a web-based service connecting homeowners with reliable remodeling contractors and manages each project. During his time with 45Fix, Geoff managed the development of the technology platform and developed the business processes for handling customer projects from lead to closure. Before co-founding 45Fix, Geoff was a marketing manager for National Instruments Corp., where he managed the rollout of the revolutionary hardware and software that enabled customers of the company's flagship project to target their applications to Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) chips. He also developed and managed a marketing strategy to increase OEM business. Prior to his marketing roles, Geoff managed the Michigan office of National Instruments and was responsible for all sales and customer training operations. During his sales career there, he twice broke the company record for largest order closed.  Geoff has a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Manny Teran
Regional Sales Manager of the Western US and Latin America

Manny, an Arizona native, graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career as a Test Engineer at Sargent Controls and Aerospace, a Tucson, Arizona aerospace company. He then joined National Instruments and was in charge of the Southern Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada T&M market. His main accounts included Raytheon, Honeywell, and Bechtel Nevada.  In addition, he also served many of the electronic manufacturing facilities across the border in Sonora, Mexico including Motorola, Alcatel, and General Instruments.  After many successful years in Arizona, Manny then moved to Michigan and leveraged his experience in military and aerospace accounts to capture General Dynamics, Smiths Aerospace, and Army-TACOM, as well as to develop his automotive market experience.   This experience helped him serve as a program manager for high-altitude airship company as well as senior account manger for a leading dynamometer and engine test cell company.  Manny welcomes this exciting opportunity to return to the southwest and serve as Regional Sales Manager at ZTEC, covering the Western United Sales as well as Latin America.
