Welcome to 2011.
At ZTEC Instruments, we believe that the future of test and measurement requires tightly integrated instrumentation and computing solutions. This combination facilitates the current trend toward shorter development times, increased flexibility, lower cost, and smaller size in test and measurement systems. We believe the future of test and measurement lies in reliable, future-proof modular instruments.
Our philosophy for success is built on our working relationships with our customers; listening to their needs, understanding their applications, and then working diligently side-by-side with them to apply our instrument technology and expertise to solve their specific and unique problems. For example:
- We developed long life cycle and replacement instruments for automated test applications in the Military/Aerospace sector to allow them to fulfill their mission without being forced to constantly integrate and validate new instruments.
- We added EPICS software to our LXI oscilloscopes to simplify the integration of remotely-controlled oscilloscopes within large accelerator facilities.
- We added synchronization and optimized measurement speed to implement a parallel real-time processing architecture for multi-channel digitizers.
- We optimized the sequencing of test executions for the semiconductor RF and mixed-signal test community to increase test throughput.
Over the past year, ZTEC Instruments has added RF test instruments to our oscilloscope and waveform generator product lines, with the introduction of the ZT8440 IF Digitizer and the ZT8101 Vector Signal Analyzer. These new RF test products apply the same approach that combines the best of bench-top and modular instruments. Common RF test & measurement functionality is provided within on-instrument firmware to ease integration and reduce test time, and customized processing is available through access to raw or processed waveform data. We are excited about this new development and look forward to how it will impact our customers in a positive way.
